How Trezor keeps your cryptocurrency safe
Your private keys never leave the device and are never exposed to the internet. This "cold storage" approach makes it impossible for hackers to steal your keys remotely.
Even when making transactions, your keys remain safely inside the Trezor device, signing transactions internally before sending them to the network.

PIN entered on device screen for maximum security
Your Trezor is protected by a PIN that you enter directly on the device. The PIN layout is randomized each time, preventing keyloggers from capturing your PIN.
After multiple incorrect PIN attempts, the device will wipe itself, protecting your funds even if physically stolen.
During setup, your Trezor generates a unique 12 or 24-word recovery seed. This seed can restore your wallet on any compatible device if your Trezor is lost or damaged.
Write down your seed and store it safely offline. Never share it digitally or with anyone else.
